Leader's Checklist
Describes to potential leaders how to plan and deliver a 60- to 90- minute structured session. Includes the steps, the recommended time allotments, tasks involved, tips and resources.
Guidelines for Effective Leaders
Provides tips on behaviours demonstrated by an effective leader.
Adults and Effective Sessions
Outlines the experiences and needs of adult learners and makes suggestions for how to provide an effective session
Potential Challenges and How to Handle
Provides tips on how to deal with potential challenges that might arise and ways to handle the group.
Support Materials
Participant Sign-In Sheet and Evaluation Form
Collects names of participants and their contact information. Allows participants to provide feedback on both the sessions and the resources.
Leader Log and Feedback Form
Allows the leader to record the session topics discussed and the number of attendees, as well as to evaluate both the session content and the resources provided.
Sample Poster or E-Mail Message
Provides sample material that may be used to advertise the sessions.
Over time the content may be updated and other topics added.
