Kate Winslet spoke to Heart's Dev Griffin this week about her new film 'Lee', based on the incredible life story of war photographer Lee Miller.

Kate Winslet, 48, is set to star in an epic new biopic playing Lee Miller, an American photographer and photojournalist who the actress calls “extraordinary.”

The Titanic, Avatar And The holiday actress spoke candidly to Heart's Dev Griffin this week about why it was so important for her to tell this story, admitting that it took nine years in total to finish.

“Lee Miller was an extraordinary woman,” she told Dev passionately. “As a middle-aged woman in her forties, she photographed the front lines and the events of World War II. She simply did not believe in hiding behind the truth.”
